Ten people were taken into custody after an alleged illegal gaming raid this week at a billiards facility in Georgia.
Following a tip about illegal behavior occurring at Sosa's Billiards in Norcross, Georgia, local police conducted a raid.
According to Georgia TV station WSB, the proprietor, Steven Bae Kim, 66, of Duluth, was charged with maintaining a place of gambling, commercial gambling, and gambling.
An employee named Seth Abernathy, 40, of Auburn, Georgia, was accused of commercial gambling. There were eight more suspects who faced gambling charges. They weren't identified right away.
The ten suspects' cases were sent to the local prosecutors.
During the operation, suspected narcotics and an undisclosed sum of money were taken from the establishment. There could be more charges related to the substances.
Since last year, the billiards hall has been the subject of an inquiry, following a report to a Gwinnett County Police Department (GCPD) investigator that the establishment had a casino. It was established by undercover agents that the company served as a front for illegal gaming.
Following the raid, WSB said, the company was closed.

Arrest of a Suspect at a Casino
A lady was just taken into custody in a Mississippi casino on suspicion of kidnapping and attempting to kill someone in South Carolina.
Amy Perez, according to the Tunica County Sheriff's Office, is wanted on six warrants related to the May kidnapping of a lady and her nine-year-old son. Authorities claimed that Perez abducted the two after growing envious of the woman who began dating her divorced husband.
According to authorities, Perez and other suspects broke into the victim's home. Prior to the kidnapping, they allegedly stabbed the woman and placed bags over the heads of the two victims.
For attempted murder and kidnapping, Perez and her son Hunter Ricci were placed under custody.
"The son was not injured, not physically injured,” Chesterfield County Sheriff Cambo Streater told Tennessee TV station WHBQ. “His mother had a stab wound and she was cut with knife.”
A few minutes after the break-in, the adult victim called her boyfriend. About eight hours after the kidnapping, the two victims were found and authorities were notified.
According to officials, Perez has not stopped threatening the two victims.
The unidentified Mississippi casino that Perez was at was made aware to the Tunica County Sheriff's Office.
“She needs to be in jail. These are very, very serious charges, and she needs to be in jail. The bond needs to be high enough so she probably cannot secure bond to get out,” Streater said.
